This simulation tool can also provide smaller flour mills with a low-cost process automation solution. The software not only depicts a virtual mill, it can be put to actual use - depending on the plant's needs - to implement a process control system consisting of one controller and one PC with process monitoring and graphical display, equipped with up to four monitor screens. This system can be supplmented with other modules such as CellaTrace to record work flow data, thereby fulfilling traceability requirements. 

Our milling school software is based on Siemens WinCC process visualisation and includes the following  processes and operations: 

• Grain receiving
• Grain storage
• Cleaning
• Flour milling
• Bulk load-out
• Flour storage 
• Tanker weighing and loading 

The software simulates alll process sequences and contingencies which might occur at flour milling operations. The virtual mill environment was created with Siemens PLC software. This windows-based software simulates real-time hardware PLC operations.
